Turkey Dry Brine

Here's the deal, if you've never used a brined turkey for your Thanksgiving feast... you're missing out. Here's a step by step guide for an Easy Turkey Brine to get the most delicious juicy turkey you'll ever eat! 

Ingredients for the Dry Brine:

Instructions:

  1. Combine Gaby’s Everyday and the Salt together.
  2. Prep the Turkey: Set a wire cooling rack on a baking sheet and place the turkey on the rack.
  3. Apply the Brine: Rub the dry brine on the back, the legs, and the breasts.
  4. Refrigerate: Place the turkey, uncovered, in the fridge for at least 24 hours and up to 72 hours.

After Brining:

  1. Brush Off ALL OF THE brine and discard it.
  2. Dry the Skin: Leave the turkey uncovered in the fridge for 4 hours to dry out, or pat it dry if you’re short on time.
Remove Extra Brine from the bottom of the pan: Check for any extra brine at the bottom of the pan to keep your gravy from becoming too salty.
